HISD Summer Reading Program

Dear Parents,
The Houston Public Library and the Houston Independent School District are working together to ask all children to read at least 5 whole books this summer for the HISD Millionaire Club and 10 whole books for HPL. Here are things you should know about Summer Reading Club:

 Registering for the Summer Reading Club is easy and must be done online at
http://summer.hpl.lib.tx.us/evanced/sr/homepage.asp

Note: Students have already created their username and password. Thy only need to enter this information in order to access the Summer Reading program Homepage.

 Prizes and certificates will be available beginning June 1st until August 1st or until we run out.

 Prizes and certificates may be picked up at any Houston Public Library.

 Any child who loses a Millionaire certificate may come back to the library to get another one.

 Students may use the attached list of suggested titles or create their own Summer Reading List. Summer Reading Lists may be accessed anywhere!

All the kids need to do is:
1. Go to http://libraries.houstonisd.org/
2. Click on Elementary
3. Click on Bonner Elementary
4. Log in using their Student ID number
